This is an incredible subject after all. It taught us the importance of ICT and how broad it is right now in our nation. We have learned to use different websites and blogs for our projects. The task 101 really made us a bit crazy but we know we have the ability to do it. We have discovered a lot about computer and internet access in this subject. W have engaged in different unusual sites. It help us to widen our social media world

In ICT, we learn a lot of computers, we are able to make our power point presentation and how to design it. We also given task to make our hopes and dreams in life by get some pictures and design it and post on Facebook. We can communicate others by the use of technologies, we can also make a Google account ICT is is teaching us many things about computer, and how it is important to our daily life.

READING AND WRITING SKILLS REFLECTION 

Justine Erica Palic 

This subject taught us a lot when it comes in making different letters such as cover letter, request letter, resume and memorandum. It made us experience a job interview that made us do nervous but we did it with confidence. Writing a book review is one of our lessons and it made us an observant one and put our standard when criticizing a story. But one of our most unforgettable lessons in this subject was the story of the little prince that made us realize the essence of life. We have also learned the claim and counterclaim of a statement.

From the word itself "read and write", this subject helped us develop and enhanced our comprehensive reading and writing skills. Well, aside from writing LAS everyday, we're also learning throughout the day. We're also taught how to write different kinds of letters (e.g College Application, request letter, etc.) and also how to critique a good essay. This subject has been very useful today. The fact that an individual knows how to write and read isn't enough because there are some who got a hard time in understanding what s/he was reading.

I love english and every lesson that I encounter is a new door for me to sum it up to my learnings. The teacher is good and her teaching skills is excellent. I can say that in every lessons we had, filipino, math, science, we should embrace and indulge ourselves in a learning environment.

In Reading and Writing Skills, we learn a lot of things like how to make a college application letter, cover letter, resume, memorandum. Our teacher teach us many things and we also read the story of “ The Little Prince” by Antoine de Saint Exupery and we are able to find those unfamiliar words and find the meaning on it. The story is full of fantasy and fiction, which is good for those children and adults.we also trained on how to be an employee and have a job interview. I admit that it is quite nervous because we must answered in English language, but its also fun because we use to trained and if we are already graduated someday, we have an experience on it.

REFLECTIONS

Justine Erica Palic 

Finding a problem and giving it a solution is our goal in this subject. We have experienced sleepless nights in making researches for our output but it is very useful for our learning because even though we don’t love reading, we still did it for this subject. Though it’s really hard and we haven’t expected ourselves to do such things, we have succeeded in making it for our grades. Doing research also taught us to follow guidelines and rules to finish the task correctly.

I learnt a lot.in this subject. That in making a thesis, one must conduct a deep study. "Fid a problem!" , that was what Sir Jun told us but when that time comes that we to state and present our problem to him, our problem was rejected and altered. It made me realized that time also that in looking a problem, we should make sure thatit is really a problem and is timely. As time goes by that we already started making our introduction and searching for review of related literatur, it took us a long period of time. During Sir Jun's discussion, I had learnt the ethics in making a research paper. That in getting information from any source (e.g internet, books etc.), one must paraphrased what s/he has gathered. By this, lpool plagiarism will be avoided. The researcher also have to acknowledge the author. At first, I thought that this Research work would just be nonsense but now, It has contributed a lot for me to comprehend how to make a research, what makes up a good research paper and how it is useful in our society today.

At first I didn't understand what research in daily life is, I thought it is just an ordinary subject but I was wrong because it make our life hassle but it help us to answer what are the questions that burden/stack in our mind

On the other hand, we also learned on the Research in Daily Life, where in we are tasked to do a qualitative research. Its hard because qualitative is more on just a survey, we have to think first what is our problem and if it is really a problem and find the respondent. Its hard for us to do this task because how many months you have to check it on your expert teacher before you make it perfect. Doing research is not easy enough because it is not familiar especially on how to do it. But its good for us because by this, we are trained and we are advance so that in college, we are familiar on how to do it because we have an experience on it.

In this second semester I learn a lot of things that I have a higher grade in this semester but in every moments that I feel so tired I always think my family, myself and my future as my inspiration and to be more motivate to school. If  I stop studying all of my dreams might be destroy. I must go beyond with limitations to be able to achieve my dreams in life. One of the best additional subject in this semester is the ICT or Information Communication Technology because it is very helpful to us. As we all know, the use of technology in this generation is so rampant nowadays. Mostly the millennial are using it now but even the 90’s below people using also technologies for them not to be ignorant on it. Many of the people now using technologies as part of their business because technologies can help them to contact their customers and also to contact their business partners. We are so lucky that we tackled ICT in this semester because it can help us to be more literate individuals in the technologies.

In the features of web 2.0, I learn what is folksonomy, rich user experience, user participation, long tail, software as a service, lastly the mass participation. All of these is about in the role of ICT. Folksonomy allows user to categorize and classify information. One good example for this is Facebook. Rich user experience has a content of dynamic user participation. This means that the user can only manipulate the content not the one who put content on it. Long tail, on the other hand, is the one offered services or a demand. In semantic also know as web 3.0 is I learned that this web is a movement led by the world wide consortium(W3C) I get the aim of this web that is to understand the user’s preferences to be able to deliver trends in ICT, I’ve learned the different trends of ICT as to the world continues the ICT grows because it more focuses on some innovations that really leads to some changes of ICT. By those innovations many of the users can benefit especially for the business matters. Example for this the convergence and social media. Convergence is an interaction of technological advancements to work on similar task or goal and social media is a website application that enables web users to create and discuss web content.

In the past lessons Empowerment  Technologies(ICT), I have learned a about the static and dynamic web pages. That there is a great difference between the two in terms of their use and developer. These two is a was been famous nowadays. ICT has been very useful in every society even in far areas. Almost everyone is using it nowadays. This has been part of their daily living to get information and other trends. Others used this for their business. It really has a great help. This ICT is updating every now and then. There are a lot of trends in it including Google, Facebook and many more.

As we all know that ICT( Information Communication Technology) has a different components like Hardware and Software that kind of two components. In the past lessons, I learn that ICT is the main point on how to make any kind of websites ,power point  and ect. ICT is very useful nowadays because many people make their business in social media in any kind of website must been it useful.

Reading and Writing Skill made our lamps light

And hold our dreams tight day and night

Writing in English is out of sight

That let students do everything with all their might

Students are the writers 

Who wrote different letters 

Teachers has been our commanders 

To help us do better 

A subject that is helping

We know it's a part of our learning

RESEARCH REFLECTION

Research taught us to go forward,

Continue our goals without looking backwards.

Though it seems to be really hard,

The lessons we had was our great reward.

Finding problems and finding solutions ,

To deal with different institutions.

Being careful on everyinformation,

In choosing the right decision.

Research made us cry,

But it something made us fly.
